Website Block: Countdown
The Countdown Block lets you display a live timer on your event website that counts down to your event date and time. It’s a simple way to build excitement and remind guests of how soon your event is approaching.
Adding a Countdown Block
From your Event Dashboard, click Event Website.
In the left sidebar, click the “+” (Add Block) button.
Select Countdown from the Event Info section.
The Countdown Block will appear in your page layout. You can drag it to your preferred position.
Customizing Your Countdown
Once the block is added, you can customize it in the right-hand panel:
General
Title: Enter a title for your countdown, such as “The Celebration Begins In…” or “Counting Down to the Big Day!”
Description: Optionally include a short note below your title.
Content
Date and Time
Choose whether to use your event’s main date, time, and location, or set a custom date and time for this countdown.
Counter Settings
Show full countdown: Displays days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
Show only days remaining: Displays a simplified version showing only the number of days until the event.
Theme
Customize how your countdown looks using the Theme section:
Layout Options: Choose between different countdown styles (side-by-side or stacked).
Colors: Adjust colors for cards, numbers, and text to match your event theme.
Background Container:
No container: Transparent background.
Color: Use a solid background color.
Image: Upload an image background behind your countdown.
Tips
To edit or delete the Countdown Block, click the three dots (⋮) next to the block name in your sidebar.
Use the Preview button at the top right to see how your countdown will appear to guests before publishing.
Publishing
Once your countdown looks the way you want it to, click Publish at the top right to make your event website live. Your countdown will automatically update in real time based on your chosen date and time.
