Exporting contacts
When exporting contacts there are 3 different types of export that you can perform. This article takes you through those 3 exports which are Filtered, Unfiltered, and All columns.
Accessing your contacts list
First Access your contacts list by selecting the "Contacts & Organizations" icon on the right-hand side of your screen in the dashboard area.
Exporting unfiltered contacts
To export a list of unfiltered contacts select the export icon and make sure that the "include filtered results only" is toggled off. Then select either the export visible columns or export all columns icon.
Exporting filtered contacts
Exporting filtered contacts allows you to export contacts based on the filters that you choose to apply to your list. There are several filters that you can apply to your contacts such as Name, Email, and Address. Organization and Tags.
Step 1:
Select "add filter" and then select the filter you'd like to apply.
Step 2:
Once a filter is selected 4 options will be visible, is, is not, has any value, is unknown.
Step 3:
Select the value that correlates to the information that you are trying to export: e.g. exporting a list of guests with a tag that is applied to guests.
Step 4:
Once the filter is applied select "export" and apply the "include filtered results only" icon. Then select either the export visible columns or export all columns icon.
Exporting all columns
Exporting all columns allows you to export contacts with all columns that can be found in the column's filter.
Exporting visible columns
Exporting visible columns allows you to export contacts with columns that you've selected from the columns list. Columns with are selectable include, full name, email, job title, member ID, etc.
