Adding collaborators to the workspace and access levels.

Updated over a month ago

Whether you're working with team members, vendors, or clients, adding them to your event workspace allows everyone to access the tools and information they need in one place.

With just a few clicks, you can invite collaborators, assign roles, and set permissions to ensure every team member has the right level of access.

In your workspace, collaborators can be assigned one of two access levels:

  1. Workspace Administrator
Administrators have full access to the workspace and can make important changes to event settings. They can add or remove collaborators, manage permissions, edit event details, and oversee all aspects of the event planning process. This role is ideal for core team members who need full control over the workspace.

  2. Workspace Viewer
Viewers have read-only access, meaning they can view event details and progress but cannot make changes. This role is useful for stakeholders or clients who need to stay informed without editing permissions.

    1. Navigating to the Collaborators section

Click on "Manage Collaborators" in your left-hand side menu > Add Collaborators or Event Staff

Option 1: Invite collaborators via email

Enter the email address into the tab and select the level of access the account should receive. By clicking on "Next: Preview" you will be able to review the entered details and send a collaborator invite.

Option 2: Invite Collaborators via link

Instead of inviting collaborators via email, you can also create a workspace link to share with your co-workers and grant them access to your workspace.

  • Choose link expiration: the number of hours/days the link will be valid for. After this link expires and the collaborator doesn't accept the invitation, a new link needs to be generated.

  • Available to: select who can access the workspace via this link.

    • "Anyone with a link" will provide access to the workspace to anyone who receives the link.

    • "Set Emails" grants access to the workspace only for specific emails or accounts associated with the emails.

    • "Verified email addresses at a domain only" provides access to verified emails with a specific domain.

  • Set the level of access for invited collaborators

Click on "Next: Preview" to review the details. If all details are correct, click on "Get a link" and copy the link in the next step.
