July 2, 2026: Video Block, Seating & Check-in Updates

This release adds a Video Block for embedding YouTube or Vimeo content on your event website, walk-in table assignment during check-in, and deeper visibility into table assignments throughout the check-in flow.

Video Block

You can now embed a video directly on your event website. The Video block accepts any YouTube or Vimeo URL and drops a clean, responsive player right into your page — no code required.

Check-in Status Now Visible on the Seating Chart

The seating chart builder now shows check-in progress at a glance. Each table displays how many of its assigned guests have checked in, so your team can track arrivals by table as guests come through the door — without switching to the check-in app.

You can also filter the guest list inside the seating chart by Check-in status, making it easy to identify which assigned guests haven't arrived yet. Find this filter in Seating Chart under your event, then use the filter controls on the guest panel to the left of the chart.

For more on the seating chart, see Creating and managing a seating chart.

Seat Count Columns in the Seating Chart Dashboard

The seating chart dashboard now includes three new optional columns: Total seats, Seats filled, and Seats remaining. These appear alongside existing chart metadata and can be toggled on or off using Manage columns. For events with multiple seating charts, you can now track capacity across all of them at a glance without opening each chart individually.

Walk-in Table Assignment During Check-in

When adding a walk-in guest during check-in, you can now assign them to a table on the spot. If the event has a seating chart, a Choose seating chart dropdown appears in the walk-in creation form — select the chart, then choose a table with open seats, and the guest is checked in and seated in a single action. Tables that are already full are hidden so you can't accidentally overbook them. If the event has no seating chart, the walk-in flow is unchanged.

Table Assignments Now Visible Throughout Check-in

Your check-in staff no longer need to leave the check-in app to find a guest's table. Table assignments now surface in two additional places in the check-in flow:

On the check-in confirmation screen: After scanning a QR Code, a guest's table name and seat number appear immediately on the confirmation screen. Staff can read it aloud to the guest without opening the seating chart.

In the check-in guest list: The main guest list now includes each guest's table assignment as a column, so staff can see seating information across all guests at a glance or when checking in by search.

Scoping check-in to specific forms

For events with multiple registration forms, you can control which forms feed into check-in. This lets different staff members focus on guests from their specific form without seeing the full combined guest list.

💡 This option only appears on events with more than one form. Single-form events will not see the All forms button.

Email Status Filtering in Sent Email Reports

The Email Status column in the sent email report now supports filtering and sorting. You can filter down to guests with a specific delivery status — for example, showing only guests whose emails bounced or were suppressed — and sort by status to group them together. Go to Emails & Campaigns, open any sent campaign, and use the column header controls to apply filters.

🎯 Who's It For?

This release is perfect for:

  • Corporate Event Managers – Coordinate a seated dinner or awards night with confidence. Your front-of-house team can check guests in at the door while your room manager watches check-in progress update table by table on the seating chart. No radios, no spreadsheets, no shouting across the room.

  • Fundraising & Gala Organizers – On a gala night, every minute at the door counts. Staff can check a guest in, see their table assignment on the confirmation screen, and send them to their seat in one smooth interaction. Meanwhile the seating chart view shows exactly which tables still have guests outstanding.

  • Conference & Event Planners – Running a multi-session event with assigned seating? The seating chart's check-in filter lets you quickly surface no-shows by table so you can reassign seats or follow up before a session starts.

  • Training & Workshop Coordinators – See at a glance which breakout tables are fully seated and which are still waiting, without leaving the seating chart or asking check-in staff for a headcount.

🚀 These updates are live across all events — open Check-in or your Seating Chart to see check-in status and table assignments in action.
