You can use custom tags to help organize your contacts, filter your guest list, and create targeted segments for emails or logic rules. (Tags are private - your guests won’t see them.)
Here’s a step-by-step guide to tagging contacts in your RSVPify account:
Step 1: Open your Contacts section
On the left sidebar menu of your event dashboard, click the Contacts icon. (This is where all your imported or added contacts live.)
Step 2: Select the contacts you want to tag
In your contacts list, click the checkbox beside each contact’s name to select them.
You can pick one, several, or even all contacts on the page.
Step 3: Open the bulk actions menu
Once your contacts are selected, a purple button labeled like “X selected” will appear at the top of the list. Click it to expand the actions menu.
In that menu, choose “Add Tags.”
Step 4: Choose or create your tag
A pop-up dialog titled “Tag [number] Contacts” will appear. Here, you can:
Search for existing tags in your account
Check the box next to an existing tag to assign it
Or type a new tag name to create and assign it immediately
Once you’ve made your selection(s), click “Add Tags” to apply them.
