The Group ID tells the system which of your guests should RSVP as part of the same group

What is a Group ID?

A Group ID is a way to identify guests who should RSVP together as a single group, such as couples or families. You only need to use a Group ID if you want certain guests to respond as a group instead of individually.

Example:
Imagine you're inviting a family of four: John Doe, Jane Doe, May Doe, and Danny Doe. Instead of each person RSVPing separately, you’d probably want them to respond together, right?

Assigning a Group ID tells RSVPify that these individuals belong to the same group. When one family member starts the RSVP process, they can provide responses for the entire group.

How to use Group IDs:

When importing your guest list, simply include a Group ID for any invitees you want to group together. You can choose any number for the Group ID, as long as everyone in the same group shares the same number.

In our example, John, Jane, May, and Danny would all have a Group ID of 1. This way, RSVPify knows they should be treated as a single group.

Do note that the Group ID can be anything, not just a number. For example, you can use a family last name or a specific word!

Why use Group IDs?

Group IDs make it easier for groups of guests to RSVP together, saving them the time and hassle of responding individually. Using Group IDs can help streamline the RSVP process for your guests.
