Understand Cue's event scope, guest data, and approvals

Choose which event Cue works on and approve bigger changes before they happen.

Tell Cue which event to work on and stay in control of what it changes. This keeps answers about the right guests and lets you approve bigger changes before they happen.

Choose what Cue focuses on

  1. Open Cue from your workspace.

  2. Choose This event and pick your event, or choose All workspace to ask about all your events at once.

  3. Mention the form or seating chart in your request when the event has more than one.

If you ask about a different event, or about all your events, Cue offers to switch its focus for you in one click.

Approve bigger changes

  1. Ask Cue for what you need. Small edits, such as changing one guest's answer or seat, happen straight away.

  2. For bigger changes, Cue shows an approval card first. This covers bulk updates, deletes, publishing, scheduling a campaign and completing an import.

  3. Check the details on the card, then select Approve or Reject.

  4. Ask Cue to show you the updated records if you want to double-check.

Guest data access

Guest data access (PII) is a workspace-wide setting in Cue settings > Privacy & legal. When it's off, Cue can still give you counts, statuses and totals, but it can't see guest names, emails, dietary requirements or addresses. Turning it off also deletes all Cue chat history in the workspace. To change it, see Enable and manage RSVPify Cue (Beta) in your workspace.

Try this request

“Tag everyone attending [event name] who picked [answer] for [question] as [tag name].”

Variations

  • "How many guests are attending my events this month?"

  • "What did [guest name] answer on the [form name] form?"

💡 Tip: To see your scheduled actions and automations, open Automations from the Cue panel. Learn more in Choose between saved reports, scheduled actions, and automations.
