Find, continue, rename, or delete a Cue chat

Pick up an earlier Cue conversation, give it a clear name, or delete it.

Cue keeps your past conversations, so you can pick up a report, website draft or event-day checklist where you left off. Each person sees only their own chats.

Continue a chat

  1. Open Cue from your workspace.

  2. Open Conversation history. Your chats are grouped into Today, Yesterday and Earlier.

  3. Select a chat to open it, then type your next request to carry on.

  4. If your guest list may have changed since, ask Cue to check the latest numbers again.

Rename or delete a chat

  1. In Conversation history, hover over the chat.

  2. Select Rename, type a clear title such as "[event name] meal count", and select Save.

  3. To remove a chat you no longer need, select Delete and confirm. Deleted chats can't be recovered.

There's no search in your chat history, so a clear name makes a chat much easier to find later.

Try this request

“Can you pull the latest RSVPs for [event name] and tell me what's changed since we last looked?”

Variations

  • "Remind me what we decided about [event name] earlier in this chat."

  • "Run that same list again, but just for guests tagged [tag name]."

⚠️ Note: Deleting a chat doesn't undo anything Cue already did, and your automations and recurring reports keep running. Timed actions you scheduled in that chat, such as a planned publish, are cancelled with it. To see what's set up, read Choose between saved reports, scheduled actions, and automations.
