QR codes for your event

Share your event registration link with a scannable QR code - perfect for printed invitations, posters, signage, and more.

RSVPify generates two types of QR codes for every event, both found under Event Settings → Event Sharing:

Posters, social media, general promotion

Your registration form directly

Printed invitations, signage, day-of materials

Both codes are available to generate at any time and export as image files ready to drop into any design.

Generate a QR code

  1. From your event dashboard, go to Event Settings → Event Sharing.

  2. Scroll to the QR Codes section - you'll see separate options for Website and RSVP.

  3. Click ⊕ Create QR Code next to the type you need. You can generate both.

  4. Download the exported image file and drop it into your design.

Which QR code should I use?

Website QR code

Links to your full event website (e.g. yourevent.rsvpify.com). Use this when invitees may want to browse event details - agenda, speakers, venue info - before deciding to register.

Best for: printed posters and flyers, social media graphics, sponsor or partner materials, email newsletter banners.

RSVP QR code

Links directly to your registration form (e.g. yourevent.rsvpify.com/rsvp), skipping the event website entirely. Use this when the person scanning already knows what the event is and is ready to register.

Best for: printed invitations and postcards, save-the-date cards, venue signage and table cards, day-of walk-in registration.

💡 Tip: For printed invitations, always use the RSVP QR code - it removes unnecessary steps and gets guests straight to the form.

Print and design best practices

Print size - never print a QR code smaller than 1 inch × 1 inch. On postcards or signage, 1.5 inches or larger is recommended. Codes that are too small may not scan reliably.

Contrast - use a dark code on a light background. If your design uses a dark or colored background, place the QR code inside a white box to ensure scannability.

White space - leave at least 0.25 inches of clear margin around all four sides of the code. Cutting it tight against text or design elements reduces scan success.

Human-readable URL - include the plain-text URL underneath the QR code. Some guests prefer typing a link, and RSVPify event URLs are short and readable by default.

Test before printing - scan your exported QR code before sending anything to print. Test on both iOS and Android devices and confirm the correct page loads — especially if you've recently made changes to your event URL or registration settings.

QR codes update automatically

Both QR codes are tied to your event dynamically. If you update your event URL, the QR codes update with it - you don't need to regenerate or reprint them for URL changes alone.

💡 Note: If your registration form is closed or your event is taken offline, guests who scan the code will no longer be able to complete a registration. Keep this in mind when managing your event's availability.
