Edit guest information in the Guest List

Update guest response data directly in the Guest List table, or edit core contact details like name and email through a guest's detail panel - no need to dig through menus.

In RSVPify's next-generation Enterprise platform, you can update guest information in two ways depending on what you need to change - directly in the Guest List table for response data, or through a guest's detail panel for core contact information.

Edit responses inline

Click directly on a cell in the Guest List table to edit it without leaving the list. Three types of fields support inline editing:

  • RSVP status - click the status cell (e.g. Invited) to open a dropdown and switch the guest to Attending or Not Attending.

  • Multiple-choice question fields - click a cell for any question with predefined answer options (e.g. a dinner choice or session selection) to open a dropdown of the available answers.

  • Open text fields - click a cell for any free-text question (e.g. Job Title) to type or update the answer directly.

Click away - the change saves automatically.

💡 Example: A guest calls to change their dinner selection from Chicken to Fish. Rather than asking them to resubmit the form, click the dinner choice cell in the Guest List and update it in seconds.

Edit core guest information via View details

To update a guest's name, email address, or other contact details, use the Actions menu:

  • Hover over the guest's row in the Guest List.

  • Click Actions → View details.

  • Update any of the following fields in the panel that opens: full name, email, CC email recipient, additional guests allowed, tags, phone, physical address, organization, job title, linked contacts, or custom fields.

  • Click Save & Close.

Test before publishing

Make a change via both methods on a test guest record - update a status inline and edit a name via View details - and confirm both save correctly. Refresh the page and confirm the updates persisted.
