Website Block: Who's Coming

Seeing familiar names is one of the most effective ways to encourage undecided invitees to register - this block gives you full control over how that list looks and who's included in it.

The Who's Coming block displays a live, curated list of registered attendees directly on your event page.

Use it on public or semi-public events where social proof helps drive registration — alumni events, conferences, community gatherings, or any event where "who else is going" is a common question.

Add a Who's Coming block

  1. Open your Event Website Builder.

  2. Click + to add a new block and select Who's Coming.

  3. Configure the settings panel on the right.

General

In the General section:

  • Title - the heading displayed above the attendee list on your page. Defaults to "Who Is Coming" but can be changed to anything that suits your event's tone.
    ​

  • Description - optional text shown below the title, useful for adding context like "Join these attendees at this year's event."

Privacy settings

Choose how attendee names appear in the list under Display attendee information as:

  • Full name - displays the full name, e.g. John Smith.

  • First name only - displays first name only, e.g. John.

  • First name + last initial - displays first name and last initial, e.g. John S.

  • Last name + first initial - displays last name and first initial, e.g. Smith J.

💡 Tip: For sensitive or smaller events, use First name + last initial to show social proof while limiting how much personal information is visible publicly.

Display options

Use the Display options section to control what information appears alongside each name and how many rows show per page.

  • Rows per page - sets how many attendees are shown before visitors page through more. Defaults to 10.
    ​

  • Add field - add up to 2 additional fields to display alongside the name, such as job title, company, class year, or any custom registration field you've collected. Visitors can search the attendee list by any displayed field.

💡 Tip: For a reunion or alumni event, adding a class year field next to each name makes the list significantly more useful - attendees can immediately spot classmates they want to reconnect with.

Filter who appears in the list

By default, all registered guests appear in the Who's Coming list. Use the Filter who appears in the list section to control exactly who is shown.

Filters are field-based - select a registration field, then set the condition (e.g. "Has any value" or "Is not: Can't Make It"). Add multiple filters using AND or OR logic, and click Add filter to build the rule.

Common uses include showing only confirmed attendees (filtering out declined or waitlisted responses), or limiting the list to guests registered for a specific ticket type or sub-event.

⚠️ Note: Guests are included automatically once they register - there is no separate opt-in step. If your event collects sensitive information alongside registration, consider whether displaying attendee names publicly is appropriate before enabling this block.

Theme

Use the Theme section to style the area surrounding the attendee list:

  • Background container - choose No container to sit the list directly on the page background, Color to add a solid color behind the block, or Image for a background image.
    ​

  • Border style - select from the available border options to add or remove a border around the block.

​

Test before publishing

Register a test guest and confirm they appear in the list with the correct name format and any additional fields you've configured.

If you've set filters, register a test guest who should be excluded and confirm they don't appear in the list.
