If your attendees speak more than one language, RSVPify lets you present your event in multiple languages and allows guests to choose their preferred language when viewing your event.
⚠️ Important: RSVPify does not automatically translate your event content. You'll provide the translated content for each language you choose to offer. This applies to your event website, registration form, custom questions, confirmation messages, emails, and system-generated text such as First Name, Email, or Submit.
💡 Coming from RSVPify Classic? Multilingual support works differently in the current RSVPify experience. Classic automatically translated event content and system-generated text - the current experience does not. Review the guidance below before configuring multilingual events.
How multilingual events work
Think of each language as its own version of your event. You'll:
Add the languages you'd like to offer.
Enter translated content for each language.
Allow guests to select their preferred language.
RSVPify manages the language selection experience while you control the content shown in each language. This approach works well when your attendees speak multiple languages, your organization communicates in more than one language, or your event serves international audiences.
Before you begin
⚠️ Important: Multilingual content is configured separately for your event website and your registration form. Adding translations to one does not automatically translate the other. Be sure to switch to each language and manually enter your translated content in both places.
Step 1: Add languages
Open your event website or registration form.
Select the Language icon in the upper-right corner.
Choose Manage Languages.
Then:
Verify your primary language.
Select Add Language.
Choose each language you'd like to offer.
Select Apply.
Once you've added the secondary language(s), make sure to apply the changes:
💡 Planner tip: Build and test your event in your primary language first. Once everything is finalized, add your additional languages and translate your content. This reduces duplicate work if you make changes later.
Step 2: Translate your event
After adding a language, switch to that language and enter the translated version of your event content.
Be sure to review and translate:
Event title
Event description
Landing page content
Registration instructions
Custom registration questions
Confirmation messages
Email content
If your event contains multiple pages or automated emails, review each one individually.
Step 3: Test every language
Before publishing your event:
Switch between each enabled language.
Verify that all translated content appears correctly.
Complete a test registration in each language.
Review confirmation pages and confirmation emails.
Testing each language before inviting guests helps ensure a consistent experience.
Guest experience
Guests can select from the languages you've enabled using the language selector. After selecting a language, RSVPify displays the translated content you've provided for that language.
Frequently asked questions
Does RSVPify automatically translate my event?
No. RSVPify supports multilingual events, but all translated content - including system-generated text like field labels and buttons - is created and maintained by the event organizer.
Can I use AI or another translation service?
Yes. Many planners use AI translation tools or professional translation services to prepare translations before adding them to RSVPify. For important events, we recommend having a fluent speaker review all translated content before publishing.
Can guests choose their preferred language?
Yes. Guests can select any language you've enabled using the language selector on your event website or registration form.
Can I remove a language later?
Yes. Languages can be added or removed at any time as your event evolves.
Best practices
Finalize your event in the primary language before adding translations.
Translate one language at a time.
Use consistent terminology across your website, registration form, and emails.
Test every language before publishing.
Have a fluent speaker review important translations whenever possible.
💡 Planner tip: For larger multilingual events, prepare translations in a shared document before adding them to RSVPify. This makes it easier to collaborate, review translations, and reuse content for future events.
