July 20, 2026: Updates To QR Check-in Codes, Video Block & Guest List Export

This release adds QR check-in codes to reminder and campaign emails, new behavior settings for the video block, and brings group structure, order, and additional guests into guest list exports.

QR Check-in Codes in Reminder & Campaign Emails

Guests can now get their check-in QR code without opening their confirmation email.

  • Reminder emails can include the same QR code experience as confirmation emails. It's off by default, so toggle it (in the block settings) on if you want reminders to carry a scannable code.

  • Campaign emails now have a QR code block available as a marge tag so you can drop a check-in QR code anywhere in the body of a campaign and control exactly where it appears.

Video Block Behavior Settings

The Video block now includes a Behavior panel with more control over how your embedded video plays:

  • Autoplay — have the video start playing automatically when a visitor reaches it on the page.

  • Loop — automatically restart the video when it reaches the end.

  • Start point — choose the exact moment playback begins, so you can skip intros or jump straight to a highlight.

Find these controls in the Video block's settings under Behavior.

Guest List Export Improvements

Exports now reflect the same structure and order you see on screen:

  • Group structure is preserved. Exports include a Group ID for every guest who belongs to a group — including additional, unnamed guests — so grouped guests can be identified and stay together in the sheet, even in filtered exports.

  • Export order matches the guest list. Guests export in the same order they appear on screen, with the most recent registrations at the top.

  • Additional guests are included. Additional guests (+1s) are now included in exports, with their relationship to the primary guest clearly indicated, so exported counts match what you see in the guest list.

Check-in Activity Timestamps

The guest list and guest list exports now show when each guest checked in and checked out, not just whether they did. Check-In Time and Check-Out Time columns display the most recent activity in your event's timezone, are sortable, and stay blank for guests who haven't checked in or out.

Faster Walk-in Check-in

Adding a walk-in guest during check-in no longer requires an email address. The email field is still there if you want to collect it, but it's now optional, so staff can check walk-ins in faster.

🎯 Who's It For?

  • Event Managers reconciling guest lists – Group IDs, matching export order, and included additional guests mean your exported spreadsheet matches what you see in the platform, no more manual reconciliation.

  • Check-in & Front-of-House Staff – Faster walk-in entry mean less friction at the door.

  • Teams tracking arrivals – Check-in timestamps give you a real record of when guests came and went, useful for audit trails and multi-session events.

  • Anyone building their event website – New Autoplay, Loop, and Start point controls give you more control over embedded video content without touching code.
