Once your event is underway, you don't need to be standing at the check-in desk to know how things are going. RSVPify's Check-In dashboard gives you a live view of attendance that updates automatically as your team checks guests in — accessible from any device with an internet connection.
What you can monitor in real time
Live counts - total guests, checked in, not checked in, and checked out (if you're using guest check-out)
Activity feed - a running log of every check-in, showing the guest name, time, and which staff member checked them in
Filtered views - narrow the guest list to just checked-in, not-checked-in, or checked-out guests at any point during the event
For the full breakdown of how these views work, see Guest check-in on event day.
Why this matters beyond the check-in desk
Monitoring attendance in real time is useful for more than just staffing the door:
Catering and capacity - if you're tracking a headcount for catering or venue capacity limits, live counts tell you exactly where you stand without needing to ask your check-in team directly.
Multi-station events - if you have more than one check-in station, the Activity Feed lets you see activity across all of them from a single screen, so you know if one line is moving slower than another.
Deciding when to stop scanning walk-ins - for capacity-limited events, watching your live count helps you know when you're approaching the limit and need to start waitlisting or turning away walk-ins.
💡 Tip: If you're managing the event from a laptop at a side table rather than the check-in desk itself, keep the dashboard open and refreshed throughout the event - it updates automatically, so you always have a current picture without needing to interrupt your check-in staff for updates.
After your event
Once check-in wraps up, your attendance data stays in your Guest List - you can export it, compare it against your original registrations, or review who attended versus who didn't for post-event reporting.
