When you open Check-In, the default view shows every guest associated with your event - both those who've already registered and those who are invited but haven't registered yet. A few filtering tools let you narrow that list down to exactly who you're looking for.
Search
Use the search bar to look up a guest by name, confirmation code, or email. Partial matches work, so you don't need the full name or code. As you type, both the visible guest list and the head counts on the cards at the top of the screen update to match.
❗ Important: Search only looks within whatever filter is currently applied - by form, tag, ticket, or status. If your list is filtered down, searching for a guest who falls outside that filter will return no results. Clear the filter first if you need to search your full guest list.
Filter by form
For events with more than one registration form, a form filter lets you show only guests associated with a specific form - useful when different staff are responsible for different guest segments, like a VIP reception and a general admission event.
💡 Note: The form filter only appears on events with more than one registration form. Single-form events won't see this option.
Open Check-In for an event with more than one registration form.
Use the form filter near All forms to select the specific form you want that station scoped to.
Staff working that station will now see only guests who registered through the selected form.
Filter by tags, tickets, and status
The filter dropdown lets you narrow the guest list by tags, tickets, or status. Status reflects the same high-level check-in metrics shown in the cards at the top of the screen - you can apply a status filter from the dropdown, or simply click one of those cards directly.
Tag and ticket filters work the same way: apply one from the dropdown and both your guest list and head counts update to match. You can clear any applied filters at any time by returning to the filter dropdown.
Filter the activity feed
The activity feed - useful for keeping an eye on check-in activity as it happens - has its own, separate filter, so you can watch a specific segment of check-in activity without affecting your main guest list view.
Filter QR code scanning by tag
In Scanning Mode, you can apply a tag filter to your QR code scanning. This doesn't block guests who fall outside the tag from being recognized - if a scanned guest is registered for the event but doesn't match the applied tag, their profile still appears, along with a banner noting that they don't match your current check-in criteria. This gives staff the chance to review before checking that guest in.
