We're introducing Workspace Resources and the Events Hub, two powerful updates that transform how you manage multiple events by eliminating duplicate data entry and giving attendees a centralized place to discover and register for your entire event portfolio.
What's New
Workspace Resources allow you to create speakers and sponsors once at the workspace level, then reuse them across any event in your workspace. Build your master directory with complete profiles including names, titles, bios, photos, website links, and custom fields. When you update a speaker's information in the workspace library, those changes instantly cascade to every event where that speaker appears- past, present, and future - ensuring brand consistency and eliminating the risk of outdated information on live events.
When adding Speakers or Sponsors blocks to individual events, you can pull from your centralized workspace library or create event-specific resources for one-off appearances. This flexibility lets you mix and match workspace resources (for recurring speakers and major sponsors) with event-specific entries (for guest presenters or local sponsors unique to that occasion).
The Events Hub block transforms your website into a dynamic event discovery tool. Add this single block to your site, and it automatically displays all published events in your workspace—or a filtered subset based on your configuration. The hub shows event titles, descriptions, dates, locations, featured images, registration buttons, and real-time availability status, creating a filterable, searchable directory that updates automatically as you publish new events or unpublish completed ones.
Event Tags power the filtering capabilities of your Events Hub. Create custom labels like "Conference," "Webinar," "Networking," "Product Launch," or "Training" to categorize your events. You can configure hub blocks to display all events, filter to show only events with specific tags, or let visitors filter events themselves by tag. Create multiple hub blocks with different tag filters—for example, one showing only "Webinars" for educational content and another displaying "Conferences" for in-person events—all managed from the same workspace.
Where to Find These Features
Workspace Resources are managed in Workspace Settings > Resources, where you can create and maintain your library of speakers and sponsors. When building individual events, pull from workspace resources by selecting them in your Speakers or Sponsors blocks within the website builder.
Event Tags are assigned to individual events in Event Settings > Dashboard. Create new tags or select from existing workspace tags to categorize each event.
The Events Hub block is available in the website builder. Add it like any other content block, then configure which events to display based on tag filters or show all published events.
🎯 Who's It For?
This release is perfect for:
Event Marketing Teams – Eliminate hours of duplicate data entry while ensuring consistent branding and up-to-date information across your entire event portfolio. Manage multiple events throughout the year without re-entering speaker bios or sponsor details.
Corporate Event Planners – Maintain authoritative profiles for executives and presenters who appear across recurring internal events (all-hands meetings, training programs, team gatherings), then deploy them with zero redundant work.
Conference Organizers – Update speaker information once and have it cascade across multiple dates or locations. Reduce errors and ensure professionalism when working with the same speakers, sponsors, or partners throughout the year.
Organizations with Large Event Calendars – Transform your website into a comprehensive event discovery platform where attendees browse, filter, and register for events based on their interests - improving discoverability and registration rates without maintaining separate event pages.
Operations Teams – Appreciate the centralized control and consistency that workspace-level resources provide, along with automatic event calendar updates that reduce manual website maintenance across complex event portfolios.
